Aschenbrödel (WIP Update)

A new update on my Cinderella project. I worked on blendshapes, basic rig and fixing issues. I hope I can finalize it soon but I ran into some grooming issues that I had to look into. I'll probably go over the hair one more time to make it look fuller and better in general and then I'll run some test renders.

This version of Cinderella is probably unknown to most West Europeans/ Americans even though the film became a sacred christmas tradition for many Central/ East Europeans and means a lot to me personally.

"Tři oříšky pro Popelku" (Three Hazelnuts for Cinderella) is the Czechoslovak/ East German film adaptation of the Cinderella fairy-tale written by Božena Němcová. The film premiered in 1973 which is why finding good reference is a little bit of a hustle but since it's stylized I don't want to go too crazy with asset/clothing details. I am just happy that I finally started this project as I was planning on doing it for a while now. I always loved how Cinderellas personality has so much more depth and humanity to it than in most Cinderella films. She is a skilled sharpshooter, she teases the prince instead of falling right into his arms and her outfits are absolutely beautiful.
